Position Summary:
Oversee the store's overall operations, serve as a role model for the team, ensure an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent customer service by managing processes, inventory, and personnel.

Supervise general operations across all store areas while serving as a role model for your team.
Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, create an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers.
* Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing full satisfaction.
* Ensure all parts and products are located in their designated positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks.
* Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer guidance and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice.
* Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training.
* Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, friendly, and professional interactions among employees and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values.
* Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team.
* Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restroom and cafeteria maintenance, sales floor and parking lot upkeep—as well as daily cash count verification for the main register, cash sweeps, and register closings for assigned staff, following AutoZone-provided procedures.
* Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or operating test stations inside the store, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees.
* High school diploma
* One to two years of supervisory experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments
* Flexible availability for scheduling
