In our plant in Mexico we are growing and we are looking for talented and engaged people **Gualapack Mexico plant \- Product Development Coordinator:** Role Objective Coordinate and lead product development projects within the flexible packaging industry, ensuring proper alignment between market needs and the company’s technical capabilities, resources, timelines, and objectives across different areas of the organization, in synergy with effective communication with national and international clients. The role will be responsible for the comprehensive follow\-up of projects focused on highly demanding and sensitive application markets, such as baby food, pet food, sustainable developments, and complex technical innovations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate new product development projects from concept through validation and implementation. Align internal capabilities (production, quality, engineering, commercial, purchasing, etc.) to ensure compliance with timelines, specifications, and objectives. Lead and follow up on the team assigned to the projects under their responsibility. Serve as the direct point of contact for clients regarding development, technical validations, testing, and innovations. Manage project timelines, KPIs, risks, and action plans. Facilitate follow\-up meetings and ensure proper documentation of progress. Drive improvements in development processes and cross\-functional coordination. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations applicable to highly demanding markets. Coordinate with other Group plants to transfer knowledge and share experience related to projects and innovations. Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles. Preferred experience in flexible packaging, manufacturing, converting, plastic materials, or related industries. Experience interacting directly with clients on technical or product development matters. Availability for international travel, with a valid passport and visa to access the United States and Canada. Knowledge \& Tools Proficiency in project planning and monitoring tools (MS Project, advanced Excel, collaborative tools, etc.). General knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development. Experience managing timelines, tracking KPIs, and risk management. Advanced English and Spanish (mandatory), with the ability to conduct technical and commercial discussions in both languages.
