**Traffic Assistant** **REQUIREMENTS: COMPLETED PRIMARY EDUCATION** **GENDER: NO PREFERENCE** **AGE: 18 YEARS AND OLDER** **SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** \* Direct vehicle traffic in road construction or maintenance zones. · Use flags, cones, portable signs, and reflective lights to ensure safety. · Coordinate with other flaggers to efficiently manage traffic flow. · Identify and report immediate hazards on the roadway or in the work zone (e.g., out-of-control vehicles, obstacles, signage failures). · Ensure that workers on-site and road users comply with safety regulations within the work zone. · Install and remove signs, cones, barriers, or lights according to logistics plans or instructions from the supervisor/traffic foreman. · Verify that signage is correctly positioned and clearly visible to drivers. · Immediately inform the supervisor/traffic foreman of any incident that may affect road safety or work continuity. · Collaborate with the construction team on tasks related to road safety.
