DESCRIPTION **GP Construction**, a leader in infrastructure and industrial project construction, is seeking an experienced **CROSS-DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT** to join our team. **Your Mission:** As Cross-Drainage Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, and supervision of projects, ensuring compliance with the highest technical, safety, and quality standards. Your leadership will be essential in guiding our teams and guaranteeing the successful delivery of critical projects for national development. **Key Responsibilities:** * **End-to-End Project Management:** Supervise all project phases—from planning and resource allocation through execution to closure. * **Team Leadership:** Lead, motivate, and coordinate multidisciplinary work teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. * **Quality Control:** Ensure all cross-drainage works and associated infrastructure comply with technical specifications and established quality standards. * **Occupational Health and Safety:** Implement and rigorously supervise site safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. * **Budget and Schedule Management:** Efficiently control project costs and ensure adherence to established timelines, optimizing resource utilization. * **Stakeholder Coordination:** Maintain smooth and effective communication with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities, ensuring goal alignment and prompt resolution of any issues. * **Problem Solving:** Proactively identify and address technical and operational challenges arising during project execution. * **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain detailed records of project progress, prepare technical and financial reports, and ensure compliance with current regulations. * **Innovation and Continuous Improvement:** Propose and implement new technologies and work methodologies to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency. **What We Are Looking For in You:** * **Proven Experience:** Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience supervising cross-drainage construction and infrastructure projects, with specific focus on highway, bypass, and railway line projects. * **Technical Knowledge:** In-depth understanding of construction techniques, regulations, and technical specifications related to drainage works (culverts, ditches, etc.) and road and rail infrastructure. * **Leadership Skills:** Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and effectively manage work teams. * **Project Management Expertise:** Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources, with strong emphasis on cost control and efficiency. * **Results Orientation:** Focus on achieving objectives and successfully delivering projects while meeting the highest quality and safety standards. * **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with personnel and stakeholders at all levels. * **Problem-Solving Ability:** Skill in identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems efficiently and promptly. * **Proactivity and Adaptability:** Proactive attitude, ability to work under pressure, and adaptability to dynamic work environments. * **Regulatory Knowledge:** Familiarity with applicable Mexican construction, safety, and environmental regulations. * **University Degree:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
