Process optimization and team management Position Summary We are seeking a **Sewing Department Head** with exceptional leadership ability and a strong results orientation to lead our production lines. This person will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the manufacturing plan by optimizing technical and human resources to deliver high-quality products within established timelines. Main Responsibilities * **Production Management:** Schedule and supervise daily workflow, performing line balancing to maximize productivity. * **Quality Control:** Ensure each garment strictly complies with technical specifications and the company’s quality standards. * **Team Leadership:** Supervise, motivate, and train operational staff (sewing, cutting, and finishing). * **Process Optimization:** Identify and eliminate bottlenecks using continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing). * **Resource Administration:** Coordinate with preventive maintenance departments and manage inventory of consumables (threads, needles, accessories) to prevent line stoppages. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in supervisory or department head roles in textile garment manufacturing plants. * **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in industrial machinery and interpretation of technical specifications. * **Education:** Industrial Engineering, Fashion Design, Garment Technician, or related field. * **Soft Skills:** Decision-making under pressure, excellent communication, and conflict resolution capability. * **Tools:** Intermediate Excel proficiency Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: Starting from $28,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
