We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of **QUALITY AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER**, with the following profile: **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** \-Supervise production processes to identify problems and/or technical failures, and jointly determine containment, corrective, and preventive actions with the multidisciplinary team. \-Design quality metrics for production processes to enable evaluation of process and product quality. \-Identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement, and develop action plans through implementation of statistical process control and analysis for assigned processes. 4\.Foster a culture of continuous improvement by continuously training personnel under supervision on quality and continuous improvement topics. **EXPERIENCE:** · 3–5 years as a quality and/or continuous improvement engineer, verifiable in **manufacturing companies** (PLUS offset\-folding) · Quality control and/or continuous improvement · Quality audits, non-conformance management, and/or process improvement · Graphic industry and packaging processes NECESSARY TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: · Statistical Process Control · Sampling techniques · Quality audits · Quality tools and lean production processes, software (mandatory) · Knowledge of graphic arts printing processes: Offset, Flexography, Rotogravure, digital printing, manual finishing, die-cutting, varnishing, or inks · Production processes (mandatory) · Microsoft Office suite (mandatory) **PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS** · Effective communication. · Problem solving. · Attention to detail. · Sense of responsibility and urgency. · Leadership. · Firm character and self-control. · Punctual and responsible. · Teamwork. · Results-oriented. · Decision-making.
