Req ID: 76199 **Description** --------------- **Job Objective:** Responsible for collecting scrap materials from the production area according to requirements, with a focus on quality and assurance of scrap material disposition. Responsible for the collection, weighing, characterization, and delivery of all types of scrap materials within the assigned work area. Performs duties based on a standard route or as required by equipment cleaning frequency. **Primary Responsibility:** Performs physical and administrative tasks related to scrap collection in manufacturing processes, including weighing, characterization, and delivery into official containers for disposal. **Required Profile:** Completed High School Education. Languages: Not required. Shift Availability: 4-day and 3-day shifts (12 hours each). Teamwork skills. Rotation Availability: Every 6 months (day and night shifts). Experience: Minimum 1 year in a related industry. **Technical Competencies:** Proficiency in computer equipment and systems (Word, Excel, Windows). 5S + 1. Experience in warehouse operations or inventory control. Knowledge of inventory management. Sense of urgency in critical operations. **Responsibilities** -------------------- Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines.
