Acuario Michin invites you to join its team as: Process Intern/Volunteer **Objective:** To support the Safety, Quality, and Environment department through participation in operational and administrative activities that contribute to compliance with applicable regulations, prevention of occupational risks, and continuous improvement of internal processes. **General Description:** The intern/volunteer will join the Safety, Quality, and Environment department, working under the supervision of the Coordinator of this area. They will participate in the implementation, monitoring, and control of activities related to industrial safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management, gaining practical experience in a professional setting. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Support for safety walkthroughs on the shop floor and/or office * Support for inspections to identify unsafe conditions * Basic identification of occupational hazards * Registration and control of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Preparation of safety forms, checklists, and reports * Basic use of Excel for data entry and indicator tracking * Support for safety training sessions * Updating of safety documentation and forms * Support for incident investigations * Monitoring compliance with applicable regulations * Support in internal audits of safety, quality, and environment **Candidate Profile:** * Currently enrolled student or recent graduate in: * Industrial Engineering * Environmental Engineering * Industrial Safety Engineering * Interest in developing a career in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment * Proactive attitude and willingness to learn **Technical Knowledge:** * Basic knowledge of regulations issued by the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) * Familiarity with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) on safety (e.g., NOM-030-STPS-2009 – Preventive safety and health services at work) * Basic knowledge of occupational hazard identification * Basic Excel proficiency (data entry, simple tables, reports) * Basic knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) **Competencies:** * Responsibility * Teamwork * Attention to detail * Organization * Effective communication * Proactivity **Skills to Be Developed:** * Occupational risk analysis and prevention * Interpretation and application of STPS regulations * Document management within safety systems * Preparation of technical reports * Participation in internal audits * Development of organizational safety culture * Continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental processes **Conditions:** * **Type: Internship/Volunteer** * **Schedule:** Morning or afternoon shift Job Type: Apprentice Benefits: * Discounts and preferential pricing Application Question(s): * This is an internship/volunteer position.
