Professional development in accounting Accounting Assistant Profile Job Objective Support the accurate capture, recording, and reconciliation of accounting transactions, ensuring financial information accuracy and compliance with tax regulations during the project. Requirements * Education: Technical Degree in Accounting or incomplete Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. * Experience: 2 years in accounting functions (journal entry recording, reconciliations, support in closings). * Technical Knowledge: * Proficiency in accounting systems * Intermediate Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables) * General knowledge of tax obligations (VAT, Income Tax, DIOT) * Competencies: * Attention to detail and numerical accuracy * Organization and time management * Teamwork and clear communication * Confidentiality and professional ethics Responsibilities * Capture and recording of accounting journal entries (revenues, expenses, general ledger) * Bank reconciliations and review of accounting balances * Preparation of accounting subsidiary ledgers and account reviews * Support in monthly and quarterly closings * Preparation of basic accounting reports for review by the General Accountant * Filing and control of accounting documentation * Support during internal or external audits throughout the project Conditions * Salary: $13,000 gross per month plus statutory benefits * Schedule: Full-time (Monday to Friday) Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $11,000.00 - $13,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
