





At **DESARROLLO SERVINTE**, a leader in lost-wax casting processes, we are seeking a **Metallurgical Engineer** passionate about continuous improvement and innovation in metal alloys. You will be responsible for supervising, developing, and optimizing casting processes, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and international regulations. (ISO 9001:2015\) **Responsibilities** * Supervise and validate the chemical, physical, and mechanical properties of alloys. * Develop, adjust, and release metal charges in coordination with the quality department. * Analyze root causes of metallurgical defects (microporosity, shrinkage, lamination, etc.) and propose solutions. * Ensure traceability of materials, cuttings, and returns for controlled reuse. * Coordinate metallurgical tests, document results, and generate technical reports. * Implement process improvements to optimize time and reduce costs. * Train technical staff in the handling and control of metallurgical processes. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and audits (ISO 9001:2015\). **Requirements** * Degree in Metallurgical Engineering **(mandatory requirement, no exceptions).** * Minimum of 2 years of experience in casting processes, alloys, and heat treatments. * Solid knowledge of chemical and physical metallurgy of alloys. * Experience in defect analysis and process improvement. * Proficiency with quality analysis tools (Ishikawa, 5 Whys). **Skills and competencies**. * Analytical thinking and problem-solving. * Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement. * Ability to train and transfer knowledge. * Organized with attention to detail. **We Offer** * Assistance with accommodation in company apartment for out-of-town personnel * Competitive salary * Professional development opportunities * Environment of innovation and continuous improvement Job type: Full-time, Indefinite duration Salary: $10,000\.00 \- $11,200\.00 per month Application question(s): * Have you developed and validated alloy charges for casting processes? * Do you have experience analyzing metallurgical defects such as microporosity, shrinkage, or lamination?
