Answer questions regarding menu selections and confirm with kitchen staff. Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding the origin, harvest, and style of various wines. Locate and log follow-up calls for room service orders. Notify guests and management of delays in service delivery. Communicate to the kitchen any additional food requests, allergies, dietary requirements, and special requests. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. Enter transactions into the MICROS® system at the time of order. Complete closing reports, including MICROS reports. Process all payment methods. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; anticipate guest service needs and fulfill them; assist guests with disabilities; and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear, professional language and answer telephones using proper protocol. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
