Negotiates international rates and resolves incidents **A leading upholstery and laminating company is seeking:** ------------------------------------------------------- ***SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER*** *Objective:* Manage and optimize high-volume international imports via maritime traffic, coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers, and international suppliers to ensure legal compliance, cost efficiency, and timely execution. **We offer:** * **Base salary of $80,000\-$100,000 monthly gross** (Based on experience) * Schedule: **Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM** * Fixed rest days: Sundays and two Saturdays per month * Statutory benefits * Excellent work environment ***Requirements:*** * Intermediate English * Import operations * Maritime traffic * International procurement * Freight forwarder / Freight forwarding * Container volume handling * 4–5 years of experience * Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM; two rest days per month * Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related field * Interns accepted (degree not mandatory) **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * End-to-end management of high-volume maritime imports * Coordination with freight forwarders and shipping lines * Direct and ongoing contact with customs brokers * Planning and tracking of international shipments * Documentation control (B/L, invoices, packing lists, customs entries) * Negotiation of international rates * Monitoring of timelines, costs, and compliance * Resolution of customs and logistics incidents * Communication with internal departments (procurement, warehouse, finance) * Key competencies * Proactivity * Leadership * Organization and follow-up * Sense of urgency * Effective communication * Negotiation skills * Ability to work under pressure * Operational focus (hands\-on) ***Work location: Ecatepec de Morelos, State of Mexico.***
