**Middleware Administrator** **Location:** Mexico (CDMX, Querétaro, Guadalajara, Monterrey) **Work Model:** Hybrid, 2 \- 3 days per week **Experience Level:** 4–8 years **Position Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Middleware Administrator** to support, manage, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms across multiple environments. This role requires strong hands\-on expertise in application servers, messaging systems, and operational automation, working closely with cross\-functional teams to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide operational support for **Oracle Applications and WebLogic Server**. * Set up and manage multiple WebLogic domains, including **Admin Servers and Managed Servers** across different environments. * Deploy **WAR and EAR applications** in clustered environments. * Perform day\-to\-day middleware administration activities including **installation, configuration, monitoring, clustering, and troubleshooting**. * Create and configure **JDBC data sources** for backend databases. * Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. * Apply **patches, upgrades, and security fixes** to middleware components. * Automate operational tasks, workflows, and deployments to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. * Manage **JMS servers, queues, and topics**. * Administer **Kafka** components including brokers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, retention policies, and replication strategies. * Monitor message queues and troubleshoot producer/consumer issues. * Manage application and service deployments across multiple environments. **Required Technical Skills** * Strong hands\-on experience with middleware technologies such as: * **Oracle WebLogic Server** * **Apache Tomcat** * **Apache HTTP Server** * **JBoss** * **Kafka** * Deep knowledge of **WebLogic Server, SOA Suite, Oracle Forms and Reports**. * Solid experience in **Windows and Linux** environments. * Experience with server patching, alert monitoring, and incident troubleshooting. * Strong understanding of middleware performance tuning and optimization. **Nice to Have** * Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to: * **Shell scripting** * **Ansible templates** * System processes and application performance * Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation. * Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse technical teams.
