Contribute to quality systems, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives **Job Description** **General Objective:** Responsible of execute, register, recording and keep updated of master calibration schedule of all the critical instruments at NLDC, and acomplish international standars and FDA requirements. **Responsabilities:** * Programming and performing calibrations in accordance with the applicable standards and within the established timelines and procedures. * Administration of the calibration program, as well as proper updating and maintenance the Calibrations module in Reliance. * Control of the "Masters" for the calibration as well as the programming of their external calibrations. * Filling out and administering the calibration certificates for the gauges, including obtaining the necessary approvals. * Responsible for staying up to date with the current calibration procedures that govern the company. ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 11135, and FDA requirements. * Provide support when calibration information is required. * Support in attending internal and external audits when the calibration system is audited. * Responsible for the execution of the corrective actions necessary for the closure of CAPAs, related to equipment calibration. * Support to production lines regarding gauges reading problems. * Update of quality system trainings as required. * Support and participate in the 5s program and Kaizen events and MKOS system. * Responsible for following the codes of conduct, regulations, and policies of Medline. * Other responsibilities that could be assigned in the procedures of the quality system, also support for validations (IQ/OQ/PQ). **SKILLS** **Hard skills:** * Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 17025 (desirable), and FDA requirements. * Strong knowledge of calibrations systems such as Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Weight, Mass, Dimensional measurement and Electrical parameters. * Knowledge of Master calibration standards. * Certificate and uncertainty interpretation. * Ability to prepare Technical reports. * Metrology software (Gage Track, SAP, ETQ reliance) * Handling of tools and technical diagrams. * Knowledge of SDS sheets and LOTO procedures. **Soft skills:** * Sense of urgency. * Problem\-solving and data analysis. Effective communication, proactivity, teamwork and highly organization skills. * **KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE** * Technical degree in Industrial, Electronic, Electromechanics, Mechatronic, Mechanic, Metrology, or equivalent. * 2\+ Experience in calibrations and analysis of electronic and electromechanical equipment. * Experience in the medical industry is desirable.
