Likewise, the skills and competencies of a Universal Cashier will also be developed by an Internal Operations Officer. 1\. **Sorting (from route reception)** Sort cash and valuable documents for delivery and receipt in preparation for processing. Distribute and assign containers from our customers for processing, transfer, or safekeeping. 2\. **Verification** Verify and confirm deposits in the system. Verify the physical integrity of containers from their arrival at the Vault until they enter the verification and safeguarding process, by recording supporting documents covering seals, cash, and documents contained in the containers within the corresponding system. 3\. **Container Receipt and Batch Generation** Receive containers in good condition, ensuring they are always visible to the corresponding camera. Distribute containers to different value processing lanes through physical handover, based on customer data contained in the "Service Order." Record service vouchers in systems, spreadsheets, reports, and cash and valuable document operation records. Prepare batches (groups of containers to be processed per customer and priority). Prepare responsibility transfer reports and have them signed during handover processes. Receive containers, bundles, etc., from processing units for dispatch or vault custody, signing the responsibility transfer document. \*\*\* **The Internal Operations Officer is responsible for opening and closing the receipt-dispatch window, verifying that route personnel are recognized and allowing secure container entry into the vault.****This position requires carrying a firearm, as the officer must ensure that, in case of an incident, they are capable of applying the appropriate security procedures for which they have received prior training and instruction.** 4**. Verification, Selection, and Classification** Open containers according to current procedures. Verify, select, and classify banknotes by quality and denomination, placing signature, name, and date on each strap and bundle according to standards established by Banco de México. Observe and apply security policies and procedures regarding cash handling, responsibility transfer, behavior under CCTV surveillance, access control, information use, container sealing, preparation of cash allocations, straps, and bundles. Complete discrepancy reports generated during the process. Apply procedures for handling evidence and discrepancies. 5\. **Reporting** Organize and compile accounting packages by bank, shift, or processing area. Review data entered into bank systems before submission to prevent data entry errors that could cause discrepancies. Properly use systems, counting equipment, computers, information, and system access credentials. Send information and reconcile differences and incoming and outgoing balances with clients. Perform end-of-shift reconciliation of operations and cash. Clean equipment and work areas used during the shift. Support audits by physically verifying container contents against entry and exit records to confirm accuracy. **6\.** **Allocation (Route Dispatch)** Prepare processed bundle quantities for dispatch to routes according to service logistics and customer requirements. Distribute vouchers (on checklists). This distribution is performed based on voucher information (customer addresses) to assign them to the appropriate route or area. Deliver allocations to routes.
