Job Summary: Specialized technician for repairing metallic bodies and applying paint to tractor-trailers, ensuring aesthetic and functional restoration to high-quality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Application of automotive paint with professional finishes Specialized technician in metallic body repair and paint application for tractor-trailers and heavy cargo units. Experienced in part development and alignment, welding, surface preparation, and professional-grade automotive paint application. Ensures aesthetic and functional vehicle restoration while meeting high standards of quality, safety, and durability. **Main Responsibilities:** * Assess structural and aesthetic damage to the tractor-trailer body. * Perform sheet metal repairs including cutting, welding, dent removal, and alignment. * Prepare surfaces (sanding, filling, cleaning) for painting. * Mix and apply automotive paints, primers, clear coats, and protective coatings. * Use paint booths, HVLP spray guns, and appropriate personal protective equipment. * Perform polishing and detailing to achieve high-quality finishes. * Maintain workplace order and cleanliness and comply with safety regulations. * Coordinate with mechanical or electrical departments for comprehensive repairs. **Technical Knowledge:** * Heavy-duty automotive sheet metal techniques (tractor-trailers, dry boxes, chassis). * MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene welding. * Preparation and application of automotive paint (base coat, polyurethane, enamel). * Use of tools: sanders, spray guns, spatulas, compressors. * Masking and protection techniques for unpainted areas. * Interpretation of blueprints and manufacturer specifications. * Industrial safety standards and use of PPE (personal protective equipment). **Academic Qualifications (Recommended):** * Completed secondary education. * Technical course in automotive sheet metal and painting. * Certification in automotive welding (preferred). **Work Experience:** * Minimum 2–5 years in heavy vehicle, tractor-trailer, or similar body repair and painting. **Working Hours:** ***\*Monday to Friday\**** **First shift:** 8:00 am to 4:00 pm **Second shift:** 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm **Saturdays (both shifts):** 7:00 am to 3:00 pm ***We Offer*** * Statutory benefits * Cafeteria service * Uniforms * Weekly payments * Monthly salary of $14,000 * Parking space ***\*Work Location: Cachapa Industrial Park\**** Position Type: Full-time Salary: $14,000.00 per month.
