**Steel Manufacturing Solutions, a leading metalworking company, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer** **Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.** **Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings** **Orthographic views (front, side, top)** **Sections and cuts, enlarged details, isometric perspectives, assembly and exploded diagrams, 2D flat assembly drawings with dimensions, generation of fabrication drawings** **Quality management systems, AWS welding standards, welding symbols, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)** **Knowledge of steels, including carbon steel and stainless steel, as well as standard commercial thicknesses** Employment type: Full-time, indefinite-term contract Salary: Starting at $4,000.00 per week Benefits: * Life insurance * Free uniforms Work location: On-site employment
