In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring database performance, availability, and reliability, while contributing to large\-scale **cloud modernization initiatives**. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide **production support (BAU)** for SQL Server databases * Lead and execute **database migrations from On\-Premise to Azure** * Implement and manage **High Availability (HA/DR) and replication solutions** * Perform **query tuning and performance optimization** * Manage **backup, recovery, and database security** * Execute **patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance** * Collaborate with **architecture, engineering, and operations teams** * Develop automation and contribute to **DevOps practices** **Required Qualifications** * **10\+ years** of experience as a Database Administrator * Strong expertise in **SQL Server (2014, 2016, 2019\)** * Proven experience with: * **Database migrations to cloud (Azure preferred)** * Tools such as **Database Migration Service (DMS)** or **DMA** * Solid knowledge of: * **High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA/DR)** * Performance tuning and query optimization * Backup \& recovery strategies * Experience supporting **mission\-critical production environments** **Nice to Have** * Hands\-on experience with **Azure SQL / Cloud Databases** * Knowledge of **Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** * Exposure to **DevOps environments and automation** * Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, Sybase) * **Azure or Database certifications** Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent Pay: $50,000\.00 \- $85,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Can you describe a database migration project you led or executed from on\-premises to Azure?
