Coordinate and execute operational activities in the field, ensuring that processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with designed plans to meet objectives. #### **Responsibilities** * Supervise through field visits the efficient execution of harvesting activities according to the work plan developed jointly with the Operations Manager. * Supervise and control weekly harvesting activity costs according to the allocated budget. * Monitor efficiency and quality indicators for work performance based on established metrics for each crop. * Develop strategies to achieve and improve yield, efficiency, and quality. * Conduct at least one weekly visit with the Agronomic Supervisor and Production Manager to ensure follow-up and compliance with recommendations and agreements made. * Supervise and ensure the proper use and operation of machinery, harvesting units/vehicles. * Ensure correct distribution, recordkeeping, and safety of processes. * Develop improvements in practices to achieve costs below the estimated budget. * Forecast and ensure supply of products, materials, tools, and PPE to effectively carry out irrigation and nutrition plans. * Supervise the work schedule of personnel under supervision to maintain effective activity planning. * Supervise and ensure adherence to good agricultural practices within assigned crops. #### **Candidate Profile** * Degree in Agronomy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Agroindustrial Engineering * 2 \- 3 years of experience in areas related to the position * Knowledge of plant physiology * Knowledge of irrigation and nutrition * Integrated pest and disease management * Knowledge of greenhouse climate management * Intermediate\-Advanced proficiency in O365 software suite * Valid driver's license * 2 years of experience managing people #### **About Driscolls** Driscoll's is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
