JOB DESCRIPTION Safely, hygienically, and promptly transport products, raw materials, or supplies, ensuring compliance throughout loading, transit, and unloading. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supervise and/or assist in loading and unloading operations, ensuring products are handled hygienically and properly stacked to prevent damage, cross-contamination, or deterioration during transit. * Maintain and safeguard all trip-related documentation, including cleaning and disinfection certificates. * Operate the vehicle safely and responsibly, complying with all traffic laws and regulations. **KEY DUTIES:** * Conduct a daily inspection of the assigned vehicle before loading, verifying that the cargo area is clean, dry, pest-free, and free of unusual odors or contaminants that could compromise food safety. * Adhere to the company’s established vehicle cleaning and disinfection protocols. * Confirm that the cargo matches exactly the shipping documents (invoices, waybills, etc.). * Verify basic mechanical conditions of the vehicle (brakes, lights, tires, door condition, and seals) before each trip. * Keep doors or compartments closed and secured during transit. **SOFT SKILLS:** * Strong verbal communication skills. * Responsibility. * Prudence. * Punctuality. * Teamwork. * Frustration tolerance. **REQUIREMENTS** **Education** * Secondary school diploma (preferred). **EXPERIENCE** * Minimum 1 year of experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the perishable food sector. **DOCUMENTATION** * Valid commercial driver’s license.
