




A leading company in the metal-mechanical industry is seeking: Supplies (purchasing) Position Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (degree and professional license required) 3 years of experience in a similar position, good credit history. Knowledge: Purchasing processes, negotiation, Office software, knowledge of ISO 9001 standard Skills: Proactive, Responsible, Good communication skills, Analytical, negotiation, knowledge of spare parts catalog (desirable) Responsibilities: \-Request quotations for requisitions submitted by different departments within the company. \-Evaluate the best alternative to select the supplier offering the best cost-benefit ratio. \-Process quotation approvals with complete supporting documentation for release, depending on purchase amount. \-Issue purchase orders after proper authorization based on purchase amounts. \-Send purchase orders to suppliers. \-Track delivery of ordered items, following proper procedures to ensure correct supply. \-Maintain updated supplier database classified as “A”, “B” or “C”. \-Perform supplier evaluations within established timeframes. \-Follow up on new supplier onboarding, document submission, and invoicing. Receive and verify delivery of requested materials or supplies to the person responsible for the original requisition. \-Enforce purchasing policies and procedures. \-Evaluate and propose new suppliers. \-Analyze and compare proposals and quotations (Comparative Chart). \-Monitor all ordered and received goods and services, maintaining accurate records including price, performance, and delivery details. \-Ensure responsible procurement practices meet company objectives and compliance requirements. \-Propose, coordinate, and establish performance indicators with senior management to evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes defined within the organization's Quality Management System. \-Establish performance indicators with their team to assess the effectiveness of internal processes defined within the organization's Quality Management System. \-Monitor compliance with process indicators to verify their performance level. \-Collaborate with the commercial department in measuring customer satisfaction and timely follow-up on improvement actions. \-Support the development and/or coordination of documented information: manuals, process sheets, and forms, to define tracking of activities required for implementing the Quality Management System. \-Establish guidelines for documenting assigned processes. \-Conduct training and awareness activities related to the Quality Management System. \-Comply with documented requirements derived from the organization's implemented Quality Management System. \-Adhere to established processes and policies within the Quality Management System. \-Ensure that processes are generating and delivering the intended outputs. \-Participate in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring company risks and opportunities.
