Job Summary: Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, supervising deck operations, safety, maintenance, and cargo handling. Key Highlights: 1. Crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel 2. Supervision of key activities such as safety and structural maintenance 3. Implementation of international maritime codes and standards Oil & gas sector company operating on offshore platforms Responsibilities: * Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel * Supervise deck operations, safety, structural maintenance, and cargo loading/unloading operations * Ensure compliance with national and international regulations * Coordinate emergency drills * Supervise fire-fighting and lifesaving equipment * Implement the ISM Code and SOLAS regulations Required Qualifications: * Certificate of Competency as Chief Officer * Maritime Safety Training (STCW) * Advanced Fire Fighting Course * Advanced First Aid Certification * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as Deck Officer * Experience in cargo operations Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of ship stability and naval architecture * Proficiency in ECDIS, radar, and navigation systems * Familiarity with international maritime regulations Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site
