Grupo Tostiland S.A. de C.V., a company dedicated to the production of corn tortillas, is currently seeking **ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN FOR SHIFT WORK** * **EVENING SHIFT – Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM** * **NIGHT SHIFT – Sunday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM** **Requirements** * Education: Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field * Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a similar position **Responsibilities:** * Support in replacing outdated machinery with more modern equipment when required. * Assembly of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment and installations. * Participation in meetings addressing maintenance-related topics. * Work on electrical installations, air conditioning systems, plumbing systems, welding, carpentry, locksmithing, and general furniture (e.g., lock replacement, glass installation, tile replacement, among others). * Knowledge of types of materials to be used, their properties and characteristics, as well as the necessary tools. * Corrective maintenance of sanitary systems and infrastructure. * Installation and repair of electrical circuits. * Operation of equipment for production control. * Monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance on production lines. * Monitoring proper operation of production line equipment. * Providing quick and effective solutions for production line repairs to avoid line stoppages. * Verifies proper equipment operation before taking over the shift and communicates relevant updates to the incoming shift. * Repairs or replaces defective parts or components whose useful life has expired. * Follows safety procedures and measures to prevent accidents and potential hazards. * Conducts periodic inspections, as well as required maintenance and repairs. * Fully complies with immediate supervisor’s instructions according to priority. * Participates in company-scheduled cleaning activities.
