Job Summary: Fast-net is seeking a Fiber Optic Installation Technician Assistant to support the installation and maintenance of fiber optic services, ensuring connectivity and productivity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with service installation and fiber optic work. 2. Locating damages and testing fiber optic cables. 3. We are seeking a **Fiber Optic Installation Technician Assistant**: * Assist with service installation and fiber optic work * Lay optical cable in various lengths * Cable routing and longitudinal cutting * Pole dressing * Locating damages in optical cables * Testing fiber optic cables; assist with OTDR and power meter measurements * Support execution of fiber optic installation and repair tasks * Assemble first- and second-level splice closures, execute infrastructure projects, and perform preventive maintenance on the company’s fiber optic network, as well as carry out any other assigned duties. **Preference for candidates located in: Mérida, Yuc.** **High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in:** Computer Science or Systems Technology, Construction Electrician, Data Networks, Telecommunications Technology, or related field. *Please attach an updated CV.* Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $9,500\.00 \- $10,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Employee discount * Option for indefinite-term contract * Referral program * Free uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
