**Objective:** **The primary objective of the Field Fiber Optic Supervisor is to ensure uninterrupted operation and operational efficiency of the fiber optic infrastructure, meeting SLAs, effectively resolving issues, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders.** **Requirements:** * Availability for shifts, teamwork, ability to analyze and solve problems efficiently, reporting skills. * Previous experience in fiber optic splicing, preferably in a telecommunications environment. * Completed high school education or equivalent. * Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends. **Responsibilities:** * Perform fiber optic splicing using fusion or mechanical splicing techniques. * Prepare and organize the work area prior to splicing, ensuring it is clean, safe, and properly equipped. * Conduct OTDR tests to verify the integrity and efficiency of the fiber optic network. * Perform insertion loss and power testing to verify the integrity and efficiency of the fiber optic network. * Maintain accurate records of all activities performed, including splices completed, tests conducted, and materials used.
