





We are looking for a prep cook responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting in the smooth operation of food preparation. Working closely with the head chef and line cooks to ensure all necessary ingredients are properly prepared and organized before cooking. REQUIRED QUALITIES * Relevant degree * Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role will be valued. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare ingredients: chop, slice, peel, and portion ingredients according to specific recipe requirements. * Stock inventory: monitor ingredient levels and replenish as needed. Must track inventory and notify the head chef when supplies run low. * Clean and sanitize: maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas. * Assist in cooking: may be required to assist line cooks during peak periods, prepare simple dishes, assemble ingredients, or perform basic cooking techniques. * Follow recipes: accurately follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure dish consistency. * Collaborate with kitchen team: work collaboratively with the head chef, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Must communicate effectively and assist as needed to guarantee timely meal preparation. * Maintain equipment: responsible for keeping all kitchen equipment clean and in good working condition.
