




**Junior Web Developer** **Position Objective** Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of the company's internal and external web applications using Laravel, JavaScript, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Participate in the project lifecycle ensuring quality, scalability, and good development practices within a Linux Ubuntu-based work environment. **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain modules and features in applications built with Laravel. * Implement dynamic interfaces with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3\. * Design and optimize SQL queries in MySQL and PostgreSQL. * Provide support for production systems by identifying and fixing errors. * Collaborate with the team on integrating new functionalities. * Document code, processes, and technical configurations. * Use Linux Ubuntu as a development system and assist in basic administration tasks (environment setup, deployments, package management). * Follow good version control practices using Git. * Participate in follow-up meetings, proposing improvements and solutions. **Technical Skills** Basic knowledge of PHP and the Laravel framework (MVC structure, routes, controllers, migrations, Eloquent ORM). Experience with JavaScript and familiarity with frontend frameworks/libraries. Proficiency with relational databases: modeling, querying, and basic optimization in MySQL and PostgreSQL. Use of Linux Ubuntu for development: basic commands, package installation, file navigation, and environment configuration. Familiarity with Git and version control. Desirable: understanding of REST APIs and consuming external services. Desirable: knowledge of FilamentPHP for building administration panels. **Requirements** Education: Completed or ongoing technical or university degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
