




Position Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, serving as a role model for the team, coordinating operational processes, and delivering excellent customer service. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Oversee store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer advice and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and AutoZone-provided testing and diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers' needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates' strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying areas requiring improvement or training. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled work hours and AutoZone's dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among employees and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone's guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of cost-consciousness across all controllable consumables within the team. * Assign and follow up on area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing daily cash counts from the main register, performing cash sweeps, and processing register closings for direct reports per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, conducting vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma or equivalent * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
