Review employee shift logs and daily memo books, and document relevant information in records. Contact the appropriate person or department (e.g., Bell Staff, Housekeeping Department), as needed, to resolve guest calls, requests, or issues. Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations in the computer system, verifying guest identity, requesting a payment method, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Sell rooms or accommodations to walk-in guests based on availability. Ensure rates align with market standards and that all exceptions are documented. Ensure charges from various point-of-sale locations (e.g., gym, retail shop) are scanned and posted to the guest room account. Assist management with training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, and serve as a role model and first point of contact for the "Fair Treatment Guarantee and Open Door Policy" process. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management; conduct safety trainings and obtain safety certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and fulfill them; thank them with genuine appreciation; assist guests with disabilities. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer phones using proper protocol. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to expectations and quality standards. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
