Minimize wood waste and generate vector drawings for CNC cutting. **MFG INDUSTRIAL S.A DE C.V is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter – Furniture Manufacturing in Naucalpan de Juárez, State of Mexico** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A furniture factory specializing in wood and metal is seeking a TECHNICAL DRAFTER FOR CUTTING AND NESTING. Ideal candidate profile: Education: Higher technical or university-level degree in computer-aided drafting, manufacturing, and/or Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar roles performing optimization, nesting, and/or vector drawing for CNC machinery cutting. Essential experience in furniture manufacturing (integrated kitchens, residential furniture, retail furniture, etc.). Knowledge: Interpretation of technical drawings, cutting diagrams, material nesting sheets, basic CNC programming, and cutting sheet optimization. Proficiency: Drawing and design software – Basic SolidWorks, CAD 3D, and AutoCAD. Your main responsibilities will be: Analyze drawings and technical specifications to prepare parts lists (bills of materials) and determine final nesting dimensions. Minimize wood waste (yield loss) using specialized software and optimization techniques. Generate vector drawings for CNC machinery cutting.
