




Support timely and accurate warehouse supply at CEDIS, maintaining desired margins, honoring agreements with brands, and sustaining good relationships with suppliers. **Processes involved in** * Purchasing * Supplier returns * Price updates * Promotions * Meetings **Reports for direct supervisor** * Purchase cost report * Purchase orders report **Formats handled or reviewed** * Supply report * Quotation request * Purchase order * Invoice * Supplier database * Supplier merchandise return **Core Activities** * Analyze inventory levels and available quantities to determine purchasing needs together with the Purchasing Manager. * Review inventory maximums and minimums at CEDIS warehouse and branches to prepare purchase orders. * Monitor list prices with suppliers. * Place purchases with suppliers, selecting the most favorable option for the company (terms, prices, discounts, and promotions) with Purchasing Manager's approval. * Prepare purchase orders, send them to suppliers, and confirm receipt and fulfillment. * Follow up with Administration and Finance Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure timely supplier payments. * Review with Administration and Finance Manager and Purchasing Manager which suppliers offer credit availability for products. * Select products to maximize gross profit margin on supplier purchases. * Coordinate with Warehouse and Distribution Manager regarding goods receipt, reporting any issues to the supplier. * Coordinate with Branch Manager for receipt of direct-delivery purchases and subsequent invoicing. * Ensure agreed prices in each purchase match those used by suppliers when invoicing merchandise. * Conduct supplier quotations and price comparisons for new purchases. * Manage and follow up on supplier returns as required. * Apply active promotions in the system. **Additional Activities** * Perform price comparisons with competitors. * Update price lists. * Keep supplier catalog up to date. * Obtain quotes from at least two suppliers for new products. * Update supplier databases in the system. * Receive feedback. * Maintain order and cleanliness in work area. * Follow up and ensure compliance with company policies and processes. * Assist in onboarding new personnel (when applicable). * Handle general tasks and assignments from direct supervisor. * Attend meetings scheduled by direct supervisor. * Support other departments as needed. * Review obsolete documentation for cleanup. * Attend training sessions. * Promote company mission, vision, and values. * Foster a positive work environment. **SCHEDULE** 8 AM \- 5 PM Monday to Friday and 8 AM\- 2 PM Saturdays Job type: Full-time Salary: $10,000\.00 \- $15,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation assistance or service * Flexible schedules Education: * Completed bachelor's degree (Desirable) Experience: * Purchasing: 1 year (Required) Work location: On-site position
