Job Summary: We are seeking a tractor-trailer operator for a scrap yard, responsible for the efficient movement of materials, loading, unloading, and sorting of scrap. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to work in a heavy industry environment Perform yard activities at a scrap yard to facilitate the movement of goods for operational efficiency. This includes operating machinery and serving as a tractor-trailer operator, as well as supporting yard activities: * Efficient movement of materials * Safe loading and unloading * Support in scrap sorting and preparation * Compliance with controls (weight, order, safety) Main Responsibilities: * Operating tractor-trailers with trailers (box or flatbed) * Transporting materials within and outside the yard * Daily vehicle inspection (fluid levels, tires, brakes) * Assisting in loading and unloading scrap * Basic material separation (iron, aluminum, copper) * Organizing materials in assigned areas Candidate Profile: Mandatory: * Experience operating tractor-trailers * Valid driver's license * Experience in yard operations, construction, or heavy industry Desirable: * Experience in scrap yards or recycling facilities * Basic knowledge of metals * Ability to use cutting or welding tools Key Skills: * Responsibility and punctuality * Physical labor * Teamwork * Attention to safety * Honesty Job Benefits: * $13,000 net monthly * Breakfast and lunch * Working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including one hour for lunch * Statutory benefits Job Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $13,000.00 per month Benefits: * Cafeteria service * Free uniforms Application Question(s): * Do you have experience operating tractor-trailers?
