The Teller is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of branch activities, including the daily delivery of services involving customer interaction and transaction processing, in coordination with the Customer Service function. The overall objective is to provide high-quality customer service and help the branch generate revenue by offering optimal solutions. **Responsibilities:** * Provide service as the first point of contact for Citi customers and deliver a positive first impression through effective and friendly customer service. * Conduct efficient and accurate banking transactions, including handling branch cash, processing incoming/outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining the branch vault cash. * Identify referral opportunities for new products and services based on customer financial needs. * Educate customers on digital and self-service opportunities offered by Citi. * Comply with bank policies, operational controls, and standard procedures to ensure customer and bank asset security. * Ensure all customer needs are met and customer issues/concerns are effectively managed, redirecting issues to higher levels when necessary. * Maintain good knowledge of customer accounts and new products and services offered. **Qualifications:** * Prior relevant experience preferred. * Proven experience in sales and customer service. * Experience in cash handling. * Effective communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work well in a team environment. **Education:** * High school diploma or equivalent.
