




Ecolab is seeking a Service Technician (pest controller) to join its industry-leading pest elimination team. In this role, you will provide timely and cost-effective pest detection, elimination, and prevention solutions to an established route of commercial clients. You will provide 24/7 brand protection to your customers, including commercial businesses such as restaurants, hotels, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, retail stores, and food and beverage processing plants. What You Will Do: Establish effective working relationships with a variety of clients and partner with them on best practices to identify and resolve pest issues. Stay up to date on Ecolab product/service offerings and industry conditions to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions. Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document structural, sanitation, and pest issues. Provide high-quality inspection and treatment services to exceed customer expectations and specifications. Provide customers with written evidence of service performed and advice to maintain pest-free conditions. Apply pesticides according to label recommendations and comply with applicable legislation. Plan work routes efficiently and productively and achieve 100% service status. Accurately submit reports and other related documents as required at specified time intervals. Position Details: Candidate must reside in: Los Mochis, Sinaloa or nearby areas Route territory will include: Los Mochis, Sinaloa Work week and shift: Schedule Mon-Sun 7 am to 3 pm and 3 pm to 11 pm (one day off per week), shifts rotate weekly Minimum Requirements: Completed high school diploma or technical degree in chemistry, agronomy, veterinary science, or related field; or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, agronomy, environmental science, veterinary science (biological sciences field), or related field No prior experience required; training provided. Must be able to work night shifts or weekends Willingness to be on call outside work hours and weekends as needed. Must be able to access and feel comfortable working under a variety of conditions including confined spaces, wet and/or dusty locations, cold and warm conditions. Proficiency in Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Valid driver's license and ability to operate standard vehicle **Welcome: Pest control technicians, delivery drivers, internet/telecom/TV service installers, messengers, maintenance personnel, etc.** Physical Demands: Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 20 kg. Must be able to access and feel comfortable working under a variety of conditions including confined spaces, wet and/or dusty locations, freezing and hot conditions. Must be physically capable of performing essential job duties including lifting, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, using hands and fingers, maintaining balance, walking, standing, speaking, and hearing. Must be able to pass a drug screening test and physical examination. Preferred Qualifications: Prior customer service experience Ability to sell value-added products to existing customers.
