




**Main Responsibilities:** * **Prepare ingredients** required for dish preparation (washing, chopping, marinating, portioning). * **Cook food** according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. * **Check freshness and quality** of supplies before use. * **Monitor cooking times** and appropriate temperatures for each food item. * **Plate and decorate dishes** before serving. * **Control portion sizes** to prevent waste and maintain cost control. * **Clean and sanitize** your work area during and at the end of the shift. * **Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations** (e.g., wearing gloves, hairnets, clean uniforms, etc.). * **Properly receive and store supplies** (labeling, refrigeration). * **Report shortages or products nearing expiration** to the supervisor or chef. * **Assist with monthly or weekly kitchen inventory**. * **Perform basic maintenance on kitchen equipment** (e.g., cleaning fryers, griddles, blenders, etc.). * **Train kitchen assistants** when required. * **Follow instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor**, and adhere to scheduled working hours.
