Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** Position Title: Paint Production Operator **Description:** Achieve the production area objectives defined for the workstation by performing standardized manufacturing work and maintaining an inclusive, team-oriented culture to attain the highest quality levels required to meet the company’s critically important goals. The operator reports to the Team Leader and Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities:** **Ensure compliance with the production plan for the workstation.** **Perform activities described in the Standardized Work Instruction (SWI).** **Carry out activities in accordance with the Internal Work Regulations (RIT).** Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the assigned task. Perform production activities in adherence to defined standards (quality, production, safety, etc.) and established control processes. Understand and provide feedback to upstream and downstream workstations regarding product defects and conditions. Perform line maintenance and preservation activities as directed by the supervisor. Perform required TPM (Total Productive Maintenance). **Ensure the workstation complies with the 5S standard.** **Follow at all times the rules indicated by the Team Leader or Production Supervisor.** **Authorities:** * Authority to report and/or stop any activity identified as posing a risk to the integrity of any person within the plant—whether an employee, contractor, or service provider—and/or to facilities. * Regarding quality, the employee has the authority to stop any process and/or work activity identified as potentially jeopardizing the quality of our products and/or customer requirements, whether during the employee’s operation or upstream/downstream thereof. **Basic and Desired Qualifications** * Minimum education required: Junior High School * Minimum required experience: 1 year in the metal-mechanical and/or automotive industry * Availability to rotate shifts * Basic knowledge of paint application * Proficiency in using hand tools * Adherence to work standards * Age: Adult * Gender: Not specified * Marital status: Not specified
