The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment. * Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods and techniques on work of small projects or on portions of larger projects. * Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems. * Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and (where applicable) wood structures for industrial and highperformance facilities. * May develop and review design calculations, models, and drawings for: + Building frames and foundations + Equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, mezzanines, and support structures + Structural modifications to existing facilities * Apply relevant building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, local codes). * Work as part of a multidiscipline project team (architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, civil, etc.) to coordinate structural requirements and interfaces. * May contribute to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews for structural deliverables. * Reviews construction documents (plans, sections, details, specifications). * Support the development of structural design criteria and basisofdesign documents. * Reviews work with supervisor to ensure the application of sound engineering practices and professional judgment. * May write portions of specifications and assist in preparing cost estimates. * Performs design work on CADD. . . **What You Will Bring:** * + Bachelor´s degree in Civil engineering, with a structural emphasis (or quivalent). + Six to ten (6 \- 10\) direct years of experience in same activities / responsabilities. + Experience with previous industrial/manufacturing building project experience.
