Job Summary: We are seeking a Plastic Injection Process Engineer to improve production efficiency and quality by developing innovative practices and managing personnel. Key Highlights: 1. Supervising and developing personnel to achieve area goals We are looking for a Plastic Injection Process Engineer for a global company located in Puerto Interior, Silao. Main Responsibilities • Perform corrective adjustments to the injection process to enhance performance and meet daily targets. • Ensure order and cleanliness to facilitate operations and minimize accident risks. • Conduct inspections at each startup to guarantee product quality for every press startup. • Review efficiency, cavity closure percentage, and scrap rate to ensure optimal area performance. • Make on-site decisions to resolve various issues and meet targets. • Perform checklists for general press inspection to ensure optimal operating conditions. • Carry out color changes and press cleaning, including peripherals; be highly efficient in reducing scrap kilograms generated in the production plan. • Reset alarms to ensure production targets are met. • Label scrap to track the percentage generated. • Complete relevant forms and perform press adjustments for cavity closure. • Develop and improve best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production output and quality. • Maintain timely logbook entries and update the production management system. • Supervise, motivate, and develop team members to ensure achievement of area goals. Requirements • Industrial Engineering degree or related field. • 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes (preferably in injection areas). • Knowledge of plastic injection processes. • Knowledge of production systems. • Industrial engineering and continuous improvement. • Basic maintenance knowledge. • Quality knowledge. • Problem-solving skills. • Effective communication. • Teamwork. • Planning and organization. • Personnel management. • Results-oriented.
