**Movicarga Bajío**, a leader in transportation and logistics, invites you to join our team as a **Vehicle Fleet Assistant** ***IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY—PROFILES THAT DO NOT MEET THE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!*** **Job Objective** Support the maintenance of company vehicles, ensuring their proper operation, safety, and operational availability to fulfill delivery routes; responsible for administrative and operational tasks such as managing preventive and corrective maintenance, documentation management (insurance policies, invoices, logbooks), etc. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Support preventive and corrective maintenance of delivery units (e.g., Nissan NP300 vans, heavy-duty trucks, semi-trailers). * Perform basic mechanical and electrical inspections. * Assist with oil changes, filter replacements, brake pad replacements, tire changes, and minor tune-ups. * Identify mechanical failures and report them to the Fleet Manager. * Manage documentation (insurance policies, invoices, logbooks). * Maintain basic records of services performed and vehicles serviced. * Assist in transporting vehicles to external repair shops when required. **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical degree and/or incomplete or completed Engineering degree (a technical degree in automotive mechanics is preferred). * **Age:** *24 to 35 years old.* * **Driver’s License:** Valid state-issued Class A, B, or C license. (Must be able to drive manual transmission.) * Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics. **Required Experience** * **Minimum 6 months to 1 year** of experience in: * Vehicle maintenance (preferably fleet or delivery units). * Automotive repair shop or dealership (preferred). * Basic experience in: * General mechanics. * Use of hand tools. * Basic fault diagnosis.
