Job Summary: Qvitek is seeking a systems engineer to ensure the availability and security of the technological infrastructure, providing comprehensive technical support and optimizing systems. Focus on innovation and efficiency for business solutions. **Qvitek**, a Mexican software development company, specializes in creating customized business solutions that drive innovation and efficiency. **Objective:** Ensure the availability, security, and continuous operation of the organization’s technological infrastructure by delivering comprehensive technical support to users and serving as the escalation point for critical incidents. Responsibilities include incident resolution, preventive and corrective maintenance, network and server administration, as well as the design, implementation, and optimization of technology systems and projects aligned with cybersecurity initiatives and continuous improvement. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field. **Language:** English B1 **Experience:** · Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support, IT infrastructure, and systems administration. · Experience in technology infrastructure support and operations environments. · Preferred experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry. **Management Skills:** · IT Service Management (ITIL) · Documentation and report generation. · Proficiency with ticketing management tools. **Technical Knowledge:** · Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 and later versions · Preventive maintenance of industrial PCs. · Architecture of industrial mobile devices · **Security and diagnostic software proficiency:** McAfee / Corporate Antivirus, Vulnerability Protection tools, NetSupport or other remote support tools. · **Advanced Acronis (v16 or later) usage:** Manual and automated backups; full and partial restoration. · **General knowledge of industrial PCs:** Hardware maintenance, PC backups. · Business Continuity Plan (BCP) concepts and emergency response strategies · UPS maintenance and diagnostics · **Connectivity diagnostics:** LAN / WAN · Cybersecurity knowledge, ISO/IEC 27001, Hardening, and incident management · Use of monitoring, backup, and data recovery tools · Field Services (Handhelds) support · Execution of preventive maintenance plans **Soft Skills:** · Results-oriented · Problem-solving · Adaptability · Effective communication · Self-directed learning · Collaborative teamwork · Planning, organization, and follow-up · Security-focused mindset · Continuous improvement **Certifications:** ITIL® 4 Foundation, NOM\-009\-STPS\-2011, NOM\-017\-STPS\-2024 **Work Schedule:** * Monday to Friday, rotating shifts * On-site: Silao, Guanajuato **What We Offer:** * Statutory benefits * Continuous training * Performance Management * Excellent work environment * Opportunity to participate in high-impact projects within a leading automotive sector business group.
