




Position Summary: Lead the organization’s tax strategy, optimizing tax burden through ethical planning and mitigating risks with financial authorities. Key Highlights: 1. Oversee transfer pricing and monitor tax legislation **GENERAL PURPOSE**: Lead the organization’s tax strategy to ensure compliance with national and international tax obligations, optimize tax burden through legal and ethical efficient planning, and mitigate risks with financial authorities. **MAIN FUNCTIONS** **INTERNAL** · Strategic Planning: Design and implement tax strategies that maximize corporate tax benefits and incentives. · Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely filing of returns (annual, monthly, informational) and payment of taxes. · Audit Handling: Represent the company before authorities (lead defense and response to requests or audits by tax authorities such as SAT in Mexico) and coordinate external audits. · Transfer Pricing: Supervise documentation and compliance for transactions between related parties (domestic and foreign). · Legislative Monitoring: Keep the organization updated on tax reforms and propose necessary internal adjustments for adaptation. · Risk Management: Identify and assess tax contingencies in new projects or business units. · Financial Reporting: Review calculation of deferred taxes and tax provisions under local standards (NIF) and international standards (IFRS/US GAAP). **TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:** · In-depth knowledge of the Income Tax Law (ISR), VAT Law (IVA), Special Tax on Production and Services (IEPS), and the Federal Tax Code. · In-depth knowledge of State Tax Laws. · Experience in tax consolidation and mergers/acquisitions (M&A). **POSITION PROFILE (REQUIREMENTS)** **Gender:** Not specified **Age:** Between 35 and 50 years old **Marital Status:** Not specified **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Professional License is mandatory). **Postgraduate Degree:** Master’s degree in Taxation or Fiscal Law (highly desirable). **Certifications:** Certification from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants (IMCP) is desirable. **Experience:** Minimum 5–12 years in tax roles, with at least 5 years in director-level or senior management positions.
