Shipping Supervisor

Description

Main Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate the warehouse and driver team to ensure safe and timely deliveries. * Supervise compliance with operational and safety procedures. * Review and control shipping documents, work orders, and outbound documentation. * Request empty equipment from the customer according to operational demand. * Maintain up-to-date documentation required for shipments. * Develop the weekly shipping plan and coordinate driver assignments. * Schedule and execute cyclic inventory counts of finished goods. * Supervise loading of finished goods and unloading of empty equipment. * Prepare staff schedules and shift rosters for warehouse personnel. * Ensure compliance with customer-specified delivery time windows. * Train new personnel and reinforce procedural changes. * Manage packaging standards jointly with the customer to ensure product integrity. * Conduct root-cause analysis and problem resolution. * Keep the shipping area layout updated. Required ProfileEducation * Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * Candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience in shipping operations will also be considered. Experience * Experience operating loading equipment. * FIFO inventory control. * Supervision of operational personnel. * Knowledge of NetSuite platform. * Valid Class A driver’s license for operating small trucks. Languages * Intermediate English. Skills and Competencies * Analytical ability and process improvement skills. * Leadership and team management capabilities. * Inventory organization and control. * Knowledge of forklift and material handling equipment operation. * Experience with warehouse management systems. * Results-oriented mindset and commitment to on-time deliveries.
