Plant Controller

- As Plant Controller in our team, you will be responsible for managing all financial and accounting aspects of the plant. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise financial control and compliance (accounting records, standard costs, inventories, payroll). * Ensure safeguarding and control of company assets (materials and fixed assets). * Reconcile physical fixed assets vs. accounting records. * Act as the leader of internal control at the plant, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. * Analyze, understand, and review manufacturing costs at the plant. * Support the Plant Manager with financial analysis, production planning, and forecast accuracy. * Lead operational teams through cost analysis to develop and implement cost reduction plans and corrective actions. * Supervise the control of standard and actual costs, explaining key variance factors. * Collaborate with SCM and Engineering on material usage analysis and cost variances. * Coordinate with PC&L on material receiving and shipping controls. * Support plants in daily/weekly control by providing financial data for short-term and strategic decision-making. * Assist Program Management and Commercial with business cases and cost recovery. * Support Corporate Finance Shared Services in accounting, taxes, customs, treasury, and audit. * Drive innovation and promote data-driven decision-making based on financial analysis.**Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance. * More than 3 years of experience as Plant Controller. * More than 3 years of experience in SAP or other ERP systems. * Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes. * Initiative to drive process changes, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Advanced English (Proficient). * Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Experience in the manufacturing/automotive industry. * Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, with strong decision-making skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both within teams and in group presentations. * Certification in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma. * Experience in cost calculation and analysis.**Why Join Us?** * **You can grow at Aptiv.** Aptiv offers an inclusive work environment where everyone can grow and develop, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or beliefs. * **You can make an impact.** Safety is a core value at Aptiv; we want a safer world for ourselves and our children—one with: zero fatalities, zero injuries, zero accidents. * **You have support.** We guarantee you the resources and support needed to take care of your family and your physical and mental health with competitive medical insurance.**Your Benefits at Aptiv:** * Major Medical and Life Insurance * Savings Fund * Pension Plan * Opportunities for learning and professional development * Recognition for innovation and excellencePrivacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
