**POSITION SUMMARY** * **The Mechanical Design Engineer** will contribute to the development and maintain of both new and existing products; work in a cross\-functional environment with electrical controls, thermal \& other development groups; manage a variety of tasks and activities in this dynamic environment; and solve complex problems related to High density and Liquid cooling applications for data centers. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **Provide daily support to manufacturing operations by ensuring seamless product flow through the production line, coordinating with both on\-site factory personnel and the extended Center of Excellence (COE) team.** * Creates/modifies mechanical Parts/Assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge. * Create and maintain Bill of Materials and unit configurator logic to select the correct BOM’s based on options selected by the customer. * Works with Manufacturing, Service and Quality to understand their requirements to design a product that best meets all their needs. * Assist with prototype builds by providing technical support and providing guidance when issues arise. * Gather feedback from prototype builds and field trials and implement appropriate improvements to the product. * Understanding the products, suggest ideas and improvements. Assists with troubleshooting of escalated or re\-occurring field issues. * **QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or product development with extensive experience. * 2\-4 years of mechanical design \& analysis experience in a similar role * Fluency in English required (read, write, and speak). * Knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts, products, and safety. * Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferred CREO 10\.0 and greater * Experience with Sheetmetal, piping and assemblies is a plus. * Create and revise drawings and bills of materials. * Change order management and Data\-entry systems familiarity \- Oracle, Agile, etc. * Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and methodically. * Detail oriented. * Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to operate in cross functional global development teams. * **PHYSICAL \& ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS** * Constant / Frequent Standing * The role is primarily based on a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams. * Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols. * The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. * Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits. * Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting
