





Must have verifiable experience of 2 years in a similar position. * Coordinate all kitchen staff. * Maintain control over the incoming and outgoing food inventory. * Check the quality of production before it is served. * Select the food items to be prepared daily. * Request materials, supplies, and utensils with prior authorization. * Ensure all kitchen materials and utensils are available when needed. * Assist in preparing dishes requested via orders for daily service, as well as official banquet requests previously contracted, following standard recipes. * Apply proper techniques for grilling and baking required foods. * Know and detect, through smell, color, and taste, the condition of food; discard any spoiled items. * Know various types of meat cuts and their cooking degrees (rare, medium rare, medium well, well done). * Develop menus and item pricing. * Ensure the kitchen and surrounding areas are disinfected and clean according to company standards and health code regulations. * Hire, train, and supervise kitchen personnel. * Stay updated on culinary industry trends. * Identify new culinary techniques and presentations.
