Job Summary: We are seeking a Java Developer to join a project focused on operations, evolutionary maintenance, and process certification, resolving, integrating, and maintaining critical systems. SQL query handling and basic optimization **Position: Java Developer (Integrations / APIs / SQL)** **Location:** CDMX (hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote) At **Sngular**, we are looking for a **Java Developer** with experience in system integration, API management, and databases, to join a project focused on operations, evolutionary maintenance, and process certification. If you enjoy solving, integrating, and keeping critical systems running smoothly—this role is for you. **Your Responsibilities:** * Java application development and maintenance * REST API design and consumption * SQL query handling (joins, indexes, basic optimization) * Service documentation using **Swagger / OpenAPI** * Configuration and adjustments of existing processes to meet new requirements * Tracking and resolution of **certification defects** * Execution of **unit tests** and generation of evidence * Activity management in **Jira** * Collaboration with testing teams and release tracking **Requirements:** * \+3 years of experience with **Java** * \+2 years working with **SQL** * Experience with **REST APIs and JSON** * Proficiency with **Git (GitHub / GitLab)** and pipelines * Knowledge of **Docker / containerization** * Experience with **Maven** * Foundational knowledge of **JavaScript, HTML, and CSS** * Experience in **evolutionary support / BAU environments** * Technical English (documentation reading) **Bonus Points if You Have:** * Experience in **payment methods or the financial sector** * Experience in **certification and release processes** * Participation in **automated testing** **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Hybrid work model in CDMX * Statutory and above-statutory benefits. * Collaborative environment.
