**Primary Function of Position:**
Engineering technicians are responsible for directly supporting and improving manufacturing lines to meet production goals. Typical activities include operating, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, including complex automation. Description and details of activities
The **Maintenance Intern** will support the department in preventive, corrective, and improvement activities for plant equipment and facilities, aiming to gain professional experience and strengthen technical knowledge.
During the internship, the candidate will actively participate in supervised tasks that contribute to the proper functioning of machinery and the fulfillment of maintenance programs.
Experience and requirements
**Main responsibilities:**
* Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, refrigeration equipment, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
* Participate in daily equipment inspections, helping detect and report failures or anomalies.
* Collaborate in recording work orders, logs, and maintenance forms.
* Support the installation, cleaning, and calibration of minor equipment under the supervision of a technician or area supervisor.
* Monitor preventive maintenance plans and scheduled activities.
* Assist in continuous improvement and industrial safety projects within the department.
* Maintain order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations at all times.
**Experience and requirements**
* **Education:** Active student or recent graduate of a degree in **Engineering**, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial, or related field.
* **Desired knowledge:**
* Fundamentals of electricity, mechanics, and refrigeration.
* Use of hand tools and measuring instruments.
* Basic knowledge in interpreting electrical or mechanical drawings.
* **Skills:**
* Responsibility and commitment to learning.
* Proactive attitude and willingness to work in a team.
* Ability to follow instructions and comply with safety regulations.
* **Additional requirements:**
