**Cost Manager** **Position Objective** Ensure the control, analysis, and optimization of the company’s production, operations, and distribution costs, providing reliable and timely financial information for strategic decision-making, thereby guaranteeing business profitability and competitiveness. **Main Responsibilities** * Analyze and control production costs (raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses). * Determine standard and actual costs, as well as their variances. * Develop and monitor cost budgets. * Analyze contribution margins by product, product line, and channel. * Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency. * Participate in pricing decisions and profitability assessments. * Supervise inventories and ensure their proper valuation. * Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehousing, and Finance departments. * Prepare executive cost reports for Management. * Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial controls. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Standard vs. actual cost variance. * Contribution margin per product. * Unit production cost. * Inventory turnover and valuation. * Savings generated by optimization initiatives. **Position Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. * Specialization or diploma in cost accounting is desirable. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years in similar positions. * Experience in manufacturing companies (cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food industries preferred). **Technical Knowledge:** * Standard costing and process costing. * Budgeting and financial control. * Variance analysis. * ERP / accounting systems. * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. **Key Competencies** * Analytical and numerical thinking. * Results orientation. * Planning and organization. * Attention to detail. * Effective communication. * Ability to work under pressure. * Integrity and confidentiality. **We Offer** * Competitive and negotiable salary. * Job stability. * Growth opportunities. * Direct participation in strategic decision-making. * Professional and challenging work environment.
