Job Summary: The Technical Operations Specialist manages the complete order lifecycle for each customer—from quotation to delivery—orchestrating the supply chain across their customer portfolio. Responsible for speed, quality, and profitability on every order. **Job Objective:** The Technical Operations Specialist is responsible for **managing the complete order lifecycle from start to finish**—from customer quotation to product delivery—ensuring speed, quality, and profitability on every order. Technical Operations at Radii is not a relationship manager role. It is the **supply chain orchestrator for their customer portfolio**: quoting quickly, selecting the right supplier, tracking manufacturing, validating quality, and coordinating delivery. Each order is their end-to-end responsibility. **Responsibilities:** **Customer Portfolio Management** * Maintain proactive—not reactive—communication with customers in their portfolio * Identify opportunities for new orders within existing customers (new parts, new departments) * Participate in monthly business reviews with enterprise customers coordinated by the CEO * Document each customer’s preferences, special requirements, and feedback in the CRM **Internal Coordination** * Collaborate closely with the Supplier Quality Manager on high-technical-risk orders * Escalate issues promptly—do not hide problems or handle them solo when support is needed * Keep the CRM updated: order status, committed delivery date, incidents * Report weekly on active quotation pipeline and ongoing orders to the COO **Customer Quotation** * Receive RFQs with drawings or technical specifications * Analyze basic technical feasibility (geometry, material, tolerances) * Quote using Radii’s AI-powered platform * Send formal quotation to the customer with itemized breakdown SLA: < 48 hours from RFQ **Manufacturer Partner Selection** * Review available capacity across the supplier network * Select the appropriate supplier based on part type, tolerances, and lead time * Negotiate terms and confirm availability * Issue PO to supplier with full specifications SLA: < 8 hours after receiving customer PO **Manufacturing Follow-up** * Conduct proactive check-ins with the supplier at key milestones * Detect and escalate timeline or specification deviations early * Coordinate with the Supplier Quality Manager if technical risk arises * Keep the customer informed of status without requiring follow-up questions SLA: Proactive updates every 48–72 hours **Quality Validation** * Coordinate pre-shipment inspection of parts * Review QC reports / material certificates * Approve or reject the batch—no shipment without validation * Manage rework or replacement in case of non-conformance SLA: < 5% of orders with quality issues **Logistics and Delivery** * Coordinate pickup and shipping with appropriate courier or freight carrier * Confirm delivery with the customer and obtain sign-off * Manage any last-mile incidents * Close the order on the platform with complete documentation SLA: On committed delivery date **Requirements:** * Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering degree with experience in quality, design, product, or manufacturing * 2–5 years in **project management, manufacturing operations, industrial procurement**, or similar roles involving high cross-functional coordination * Experience in the **automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing industries** * Experience **managing suppliers** or manufacturing partners—not just customer administration * Demonstrable track record of **meeting deadlines and commitments under pressure** * Comfort with ambiguity: at Radii, processes are built while we operate * **Advanced technical drawing reading skills**—understanding what is being quoted and its associated risks * Familiarity with **manufacturing processes**: CNC, plastic injection molding, laser cutting * Proficiency with **CRM or project management tools** (HubSpot, Notion, Asana, or similar) * **Excel / Google Sheets** for order, timeline, and margin tracking * Natural urgency: identifies and resolves **bottlenecks** * Understands manufacturing: does not require explanation of basic GD&T * Organized: handles +10 simultaneous orders without losing track * Escalates problems quickly—does not conceal them * Results-oriented: cares about KPIs, not activity volume **Plus (non-exclusive):** * Experience working at a marketplace, B2B platform, or operations-focused startup * Working-level English—some customers are multinational * Industry contacts within the Bajío manufacturing sector **Benefits** **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM **Employment Type:** Full-time, On-site, 100% payroll **Base Salary:** $18,000 to $28,000 MXN gross monthly **Quarterly Performance Bonus, tied to quality KPIs:** ~$23,000 to $40,000 MXN **Statutory Benefits** **Social Security** **Statutory Vacation Days** **13th-Month Bonus (20 days)** **Company Vehicle** **Per Diems** **Computer Equipment** **Growth Opportunities** **About Radii** Radii is a digital manufacturing platform that connects companies with a network of certified manufacturing partners to produce high-precision parts.
