Professional and technical growth in an international environment At Mitikah, we are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with solid experience in Java, software architecture, and technical leadership. We seek a person who enjoys designing innovative solutions, working in collaborative environments, and assuming end\-to\-end ownership within Agile teams. Responsibilities * Apply fundamental object-oriented design and development concepts. * Design, implement, and maintain complex engineering solutions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. * Research and evaluate new technologies to evolve the technology stack. * Assume full ownership of solutions within Agile SCRUM teams. * Participate in all Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, demos, retrospectives). * Collaborate with Product Owners to define new features and user stories. * Conduct code reviews ensuring standards, architectural patterns, and alignment with product vision. * Address production incidents to prevent service disruptions. * Develop and support automated testing and quality practices. * Create and update technical documentation (specifications, diagrams, implementation guides). * Mentor and train other Software Engineers. * Lead challenging software engineering projects. * Balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Candidate Profile * Resilience to change and a continuous learning mindset. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. * Excellent time management and prioritization skills. * Attention to detail. * Experience establishing and promoting coding standards. Requirements * 6 to 8 years of professional software development experience. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred). * Proficiency in Java-based technologies. * Experience in database design and usage. * Experience with Web Services and serialization (JSON, REST, SOAP, XML). * Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Tomcat). * Experience writing optimized queries. * Experience in web application architecture and development. * Experience with Kubernetes-based applications.
